Hi! I am a recent college graduate with a degree in Communications (and currently enrolled in Manchester Business School), looking to help students achieve their academic goals. I know first-hand the sense of impossibility that comes with having trouble in school, but everything is feasible with the right team! Our school systems are geared to teaching in one way and this eliminates the opportunity for every student to succeed. I have an extensive amount of experience working with students of all ages and catering to different learning approaches. I began tutoring my peers in high school and continued well into college and saw them not only improve, but succeed with my help. I am able to create a detailed and student-specific teaching method to help every child reach their goals and can easily determine their learning strengths, abilities and styles. I have an extremely open schedule and am willing to meet you and your kids and help them get the results they need. My tutoring experience is with students ages 5-25. I have helped elementary school students learn how to read and taught the basics of simple algebraic equations. My junior and high school level tutoring included essay writing, advanced mathematics (trigonometry, algebra 2, calculus and statistics) as well as standardized test preparation. Throughout college, I tutored students who had difficulties with public speaking, writing, advanced mathematics and basic life sciences. We all deserve to achieve and I'll make sure the problems are easier than they seem!
